Fascinated and focused on national solutions for broadcasting and building open and honest relationships, values so present in its DNA, BT evolved its line of transmitters standing out in the national market for being synonymous with high quality and performance with a high degree of reliability.
In 2012 the company positioned itself in a prominent place by delivering its grandiose 100 kW solution in Medium Wave. This achievement put the company in the international sphere of prominence and the equipment began to be destined for other continents. In addition to these achievements, it became an integral part of the development committee of the DRM (Digital Radio Mundiale) system.

Owner of high expertise and even higher dreams, in 2017, finalized and approved its line of FM transmitters, fully in line with current technologies.

Passionate about developing equipment, the company is convinced that this feeling that brought it here, will lead to it goal: to be a world reference company in broadcasting systems.

  • 1998

    Start of activities
    Development and manufacturing of controllers for automation of valved transmitters; impedance adapter panels and power dividers for medium wave antennas.

  • 2000

    Launch of the first Brazilian solid-state 1kW medium wave transmitter.
  • 2001

    Start the Development of 2.5kW, 3.5kW and 5kW transmitters.
  • 2002

    The company moves to a larger place, increasing its production and creating more jobs.
  • 2004

    Start the development and production of 10kW and 25kW transmitters. From then on BT's product portfolio includes, besides the already established line of transmitters, antenna adapter panels for omnidirectional systems, directives and accessories for the installation of medium wave transmission plants.
  • 2005

    The company acquires its own factory with all the necessities and conformity for excellence in the production of electronic equipment.
  • 2006

    Already with its own factory, the company did a big investment in a production quality system and in the reengineering of its products. All mechanical parts are produced by laser cutting and CNC. Improvements like this put us in conditions to compete with equipment manufactured in other countries.
  • 2010

    The company signs contract with EBC to supply 50kW and 100kW transmitters.
  • 2012

    In Brasilia, at ABERT's 26th radio congress, the company presents the first Brazilian transmitter, working and operating a digital radio system in DRM. This was a watershed where BT become known in the international market, opening new ways for the company.
  • 2013

    The BT Broadcast Transmitters becomes the first company from the south hemisphere to participate in the DRM consortium, based in London, England, together with companies such as the BBC, NXP, Nautel, Sony, Germany's Fraunhofer Institut, Digidia, RFI, and others of the same size, and it was invited to take a seat on the consortium's board of directors.
  • 2013

    The company signs an international partnership agreement with Digidia based in Rennes and Kenta based in Quimper, both in France, for the supply of transmitters for coast guard monitoring and information. Since then the Navtex and Navdata transmitters have been exported to the navies of several European and Asian countries.
  • 2014

    New partnership Integration together with the digital world radio development team the DRM and start of research for digital shortwave transmitters.
  • 2017

    Approval of the FM transmitter line with powers of 1kW and 3.5kW.
  • 2018

    Launching new FM transmitters now with power up until to 12kW.
  • 2019

    The company return back to develop digital shortwave transmitters for scientific purposes.
  • 2020

    The company tests its equipment in digital transmission, DRM, heard in the Amazon and in the north hemisphere in high audio quality, broadcasted from Brasilia-Brazil from EBC at the Rodeador Park. The test was made in partnership with the UNB - National University of Brasilia-Brazil. This transmission, considered to be for scientific purposes, was an absolute success, proving once and for all that digital transmissions are robust and should be the future of radio.
  • 2022

    BT launches the new FM transmitters ranging from 15kW to 36kW and approves its equipment covering also the extended range.

    A great milestone in the history of FM transmitters, the company has already developed its transmitters, conquering technological space and serving hundreds of broadcasters in the Brazilian market.
